"Looking for a guest speaker for a girls' or ladies' event? We highly recommend Charissa Miller. Her thoughtful lessons and accompanying PowerPoint presentation were packed with scripture and takeaways for everyone in the audience."
Lewisville church of Christ
Charissa Miller resides in Texas with her husband and 2 sons. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Bible and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist in the skilled nursing setting, a private practice, and elementary and middle schools. Charissa currently works from home as a wife, mommy, and professional writer and speaker, and she enjoys using her Christian education in Bible and communication to create and present classes, retreats, conferences, and workshops for women and teenaged girls.
Charissa has been a Christian for 22 years and has a strong passion for mission work and for teaching. Her mission efforts have taken her as far as Zambia, Africa, where she was able to use her studies in speech-language pathology to treat and to help infants and children in a Zambian orphanage and where she was able to work with and encourage the local church.
Charissa is also passionate about teaching and encouraging women and believes that every woman needs and deserves love and encouragement. She has been through a lot of different experiences in her life, and she loves using both the wonderful and the difficult experiences in order to relate to, to encourage, and to teach other girls and women who may be walking similar roads and navigating similar experiences.
